About Bill Bergman …

An Iowa native, Bill Bergman’s family began vacationing in Colorado’s Summit County in the 1950’s. He grew up skiing Arapahoe Basin, Loveland, Breckenridge, and Vail.
After his father co-founded the Keystone Resort in 1970, Bill moved to Summit County to become a Professional Ski Patroller. Namesake Keystone ski runs are: Bergy’s Glade (after Bill) and Bergman Bowl (after his father).

Bill is an active Real Estate Investor, Consultant and Developer . He has successfully developed resorts, condominiums, industrial and retail centers, and subdivided lots in Colorado, Arizona, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas, and Chicago. Past clients include the Denver based Anschutz family, and MacMillan (Cargill) family members.

Bill moved back to Keystone in 2010 with his lovely wife Rita. He founded Bergman Realty Group (BRG) in 2014.

Bill believes real estate is a LOCAL business. He takes a VERY personal interest in the reputation of his Company. “Our commitment is to our Clients, whose interests we put before our own”. For you, this means the difference between talking to an OWNER verses a manager. Having hired numerous Sales and Leasing Agents for his various ventures, he observed how the Best agents successfully sold and leased his properties. Bill employs these techniques to represent his clients.

As Summit County’s Boutique firm, BRG IMPRESSIVELY competes with large companies and the national chains. Our market share proves this. BrG constantly ranks as one of the highest Sales-per -Agent brokerages in Summit County. As Bill says: “We do not aspire to have the most agents or the most offices. BRG is about paying personal attention to every person who comes to us”. The truth is – “Offices Do Not Sell Property …. Agents Who Know The Community Do. Our Brokers are long-time FULL TIME PROFESSIONALS not part-time dabblers”.

Bill began his Real Estate career in 1973 joining the inaugural Keystone Resort Real Estate sales team. They sold the Flying Dutchman and Plaza Condominiums during the time the Keystone Lodge and Keystone Lake were being built. He left Keystone to earn a Finance degree and an MBA from the University of Denver. After graduating in 1977, he became an Executive with a Denver based Real Estate Development Company until forming his own Company, Alhambra Development Corp in 1985. Alhambra is named after the family cabin, the Alhambra Mine, in which both Keystone and Arapahoe Basin were formed.

“ I’d be delighted to put my experience to work for you “
